The Teracopy RC 4.0 window is filled with data

The problem is that most of the numbers are unidentified and must be deduced from long and careful observation. e.g. “Ah! That number in the circle must be a % completion value because it never exceeds 100“

Why don’t you offer explanatory tips when the user hovers the mouse over a number, e.g. pop up “Percent completed“. “Time remaining“, “Warnings“ to explain the meaning of the datum?

    In my honest opinion that UI upgrade was neither necessary, nor did it improve anything. It made things worse unfortunately.

    The important info is shoved to the very edge, and basic info is gone from the compact view.

    Where is the counter for total files? It’s nowhere to be found after the update.

    Skipping a file? Gone… oh, “only” hidden in a sub menu:

    Also the finishing actions are hidden away.

    The speed graph will make essential actions, that are buttons now, less visible:

    And in my opinion, there was no problem to not see the speed graph in the compact view and it feels like every other UI element was reduced only to have the speed graph in there.

    I can’t even imagine being a first time user. I would be so confused by having only cryptic icons that I have to explore first.

    Not happy at all with that changes.

    Also, please explain the mysterious icon with the circle/arrow. I know what it DOES, but how does the icon represent what it does?

    And explain what negative 577 s(econds?) means.

    And how I managed to achieve 140% of … something?

    And how there is something like 26.0 GB out of 18.5 GB?

    It’s illogical gibberish.
