Firefox issue after installing DirectFolders 4.3.4
I’ve used DF 3.7 for a long time without any problems. Since I installed DF 4.3.4, my Firefox (latest version) is very slow. As soon as I close DF, Firefox works normally. When I start DF after starting Firefox, the latter slows down very much. Any thoughts on how to resolve this ?

I do use the Logitech Options+ software, but I was using it with DF 3.7 and Firefox worked just fine …

I also tried running FF in troubleshoot mode but whether DF is started before I start FF or after I start FF, I see no difference …. very slow !

The version 4.3.5b did not fix this problem, Firefox still freezes.

I don’t think they can fix it, so I will revert to V3.7 ….

Installed Direct Folders 4.3.5b Firefox is now working but is very slow at doing anything tried Disabling Antivirus programs still doesn't help. Running Windows 11 24H2 fully updated.

Sorry, can’t reproduce it yet. Does it happen immediately or after some time?
Could you please try using it in the troubleshooting mode?

Today, a new version of Direct Folders 4.3.4 has appeared. Unfortunately, the problem persists immediately after starting the browser. I tried using Firefox in troubleshooting mode, but nothing changes. Only disabling Direct Folders helps.

I’m having the same issue with the latest version. Both Firefox and Firefox developer freeze when DF is running. Also, if I drag an APP from one screen to another or even move it a bit on the same screen my entire system freezes up.

Please try this version:

We could not reproduce this issue, but it resulted in significant slowdowns after trying to block the DF hook DLL from attaching to Firefox. Could you please temporarily disable antivirus/anti-malware applications? It also could be a conflict with other mouse or keyboard-related software.

Good day. After installing DirectFolders 4.3.5b it's better, but Firefox is still slow. Disabling antivirus programs doesn't help. It seems that the problem started after switching from Windows 23H2 to 24H2.
